On November 1-2, 2006, the Linus Pauling Institute will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Institute coming to Oregon State University. The Institute will celebrate the past ten years of research and growth and share our vision for the next ten years with our donors, supporters, constituents, and friends.
The celebration will start with an open house at the Linus Pauling Institute on Wednesday, November 1, 2006, from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm on the fifth floor of Weniger Hall.
Also on November 1, there will be a celebration dinner (by invitation only) where we will honor and recognize LPI donors who have made a significant commitment to the Institute. The Institute gratefully acknowledges the extraordinary vision and generosity of the following people who will be inducted into the Linus Pauling Institute Society:
The LPI Society honors and recognizes the leadership, courage, and philanthropy of a select few individuals whose extraordinary support has shaped our past and ensures our future, either through their personal involvement with the Institute or through a significant charitable gift.
On Thursday, November 2, 2006, the public is invited to a series of informative presentations by LPI researchers highlighting their current research actitivies. The lectures will be in the Construction and Engineering Hall at the LaSells Stewart Center on the OSU campus.
