Fresh Grown Cooking for Kids is a cooking and nutrition education program for youth ages six to eleven.
What will your child learn at this class?
Youth learn basic nutrition, cooking, and kitchen safety skills and engage all their senses as they explore nutritious recipes and prepare meals together. After a brief nutrition lesson, youth work together in small groups to prepare two to three new recipes at each class. Recipes incorporate seasonal produce, sometimes harvested from the nearby Spartan Garden.
