Your Support Allows Us to Keep the Micronutrient Information Center Freely Available
Your gift will help us maintain and improve the Micronutrient Information Center; 95% of your donation will go directly to fund article updates by our Ph.D. nutrition scientists. Contributions are made through the Oregon State University Foundation, the Institute's parent charity. All gifts are treated as restricted gifts to the Linus Pauling Institute's Micronutrient Information Center and are tax deductible under IRS regulations. Planned gift options:
Including the Linus Pauling Institute in your Will or Trust:
You can easily make the Institute part of your estate plans by including special language in your will or trust. Please let us know of your intentions so that we can better steward your gift according to your wishes.
Gifts that provide donors income:
There are several planned gifts, such as charitable remainder trusts and gift annuities, which can provide donors with tax benefits and a lifetime income stream, even as you prepare a future gift to support the Institute. For more information, please contact Andrew Norwood, OSU Foundation, LPI Director of Development. Further reading material is on the OSU Foundation website.
Dedicating your gift:
If you wish to dedicate your gift in honor or in memory of a friend or loved one, please include a note with your contribution indicating the honoree and the name and address of those you would like us to notify (please print). A letter is sent to the honoree or their family indicating that the gift has been made (the amount is not included).
